About Us

Dusky Peak was born from a young fella wanting to learn to draw. 

Ever since I was a young kid I always loved drawing and loved getting lost in my backyard we all call New Zealand country. Climbing trees, getting covered in mud on a chilly Saturday morning rugby game and ripping dirtbikes is how I learned to do life. Many years later at 23 years old, I still do all that and more. I decided to start drawing the adventures I went on, and drawing the ones I hadn't but had heard all about. I'm all for living in the moment and keeping the memories alive to remind us to get back out there. Through a lot of practice, and a lot of help from the misso I slowly learnt that you could make something pretty cool with a pencil and paper. I've never been into the traditional clothing labels and some desginer hoodie that cost ya a years worth of pay. I like a good hoodie or a good tee that I can chuck on and people know the kinda stuff I'm into, and something that leaves money left over to spend on the things I like doing.

I draw simple but memorable designs, enough personality to keep it interesting but simple enough to to have that old fella you see at your local pub club look at you, ya hoodie and give ya a simple head nod of appreication. 

At the end of the day, I'm just a young buck keen to get a community of others who like what nature has to offer, and get those who haven;t given it a go to join and see what it's all about.
